Focused around making athletes fitter, faster and stronger, our Senior Athlete program is your one stop shop for Athletic Development.
Whether you want to sprint faster, jump higher or be more dominant in your sport, The Junction has a program for you. Combining sports performance testing, research backed training programs and years of experience, you can rest assured you are in good hands with our expert coaches.
THE TESTING
Before any program can begin, we must first understand what your goals are, and where we can see the most improvement. In our experience, athletes are held back for 3 main reasons, they typically lack:

Our testing process is designed to identify where you need to work on, and give you the program and guidance in order to improve and ultimately get better at your sport.

Initially coming to us post shoulder surgery to help him come back onto the field stronger and more confident, to now being scouted as a talent in the NFL Punting program, Ethan epitomises what it means to be an athlete. He has a relentless drive towards his goals and is always eager to learn about his training and test what his body is capable of. With this confidence in us as coaches, he was not only able to recover from his shoulder surgery, but in the process added 8+kg of muscle, improve his squat, bench, deadlift and power clean by more than 70kg and objectively improved in all speed and agility metrics.
This improvement is a testament to the results that can come from a structured program tailored towards an athletes needs.
Being able to work with such a dedicated and driven athlete is always a pleasure.

1. INITIAL TESTING
Creating the building blocks for your tailored training experience, our initial testing session is dedicated to understanding you as an athlete, your previous training experience and goals. Our Initial testing protocol looks at;

From here, we are able to give you a good insight into where you are currently at, where we want to see improvement and ultimately, where you could be.
2. THE GYM
Where athletes are built.
Our Strength and Conditioning programs centres around creating athletes that are fitter, faster and more injury resilient. We do this through our key focus on the gym and providing you with a program that is unique to you and your sport. In the gym, we emphasise strength and power, as well as injury resilience, in order for you to unlock your true athletic potential.


1. THE FIELD
It is essential that athletes that want to get fast, sprint and sprint often. That is why we place a large emphasis of our program on the field. In the gym, you will build the qualities necessary to maintain key sprint positions, but on the field we will reinforce sprint mechanics under the guide of our expert coaches.

It is this unique combination of strength and speed (gym and field) work that give our athletes the unfair advantage come game time.
